highway A4: from direction Erfurt exit Wüstenbrand, from direction Dresden exit Limbach-Oberfrohna

highway A72: from direction Hof exit Chemnitz-Röhrsdorf, from direction Leipzig exit Hartmannsdorf

Free public parking possibilities can be found in the surrounding streets. For parking you need a parking disc in individual areas: monday – friday 8am – 7pm, saturday 8am – 8 pm. There are two e-charching stations at the 5 minutes away parking lot Hechinger Straße.

by train

In Limbach-Oberfrohna there is no train station. From the main station Chemnitz (Chemnitz main station, Bahnhofstraße) there is a bus connection 526 to Limbach-Oberfrohna/Gaswerk. From the station Burgstädt you can use the bus line 657 to Limbach-Oberfrohna/Gaswerk. From there it is a 5-minute-way to the Esche-Museum by foot.

by bus

You can reach the Esche-Museum with the bus connection middle saxony. Take the line 127, 526 (quick connection from Chemnitz), 657 (from direction Mittweida), 253 (from Chemnitz-Schönau) or 21 (from Chemnitz-Ebersdorf). Please use the stations Limbach-Oberfrohna/Gaswerk. From there it’s only a 5-minute- way by foot to the Esche-Museum. Please inform yourself about the timetables on the homepage www.vms.de.
